The Social Science Research Institute
The Social Science Research Institute is an academic and research institute under the auspices of three faculties of the University of Iceland, the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Faculty of Political Science.
Many research offices and centres operate within the Institute, all in the fields of the aforementioned faculties. The Institute also works closely with the academic staff of those faculties as well as other research institutes within the university.
